The problem
Women and girls in underserved communities may experience overlapping barriers involving poverty, limited education, poor access to health information and services, economic exclusion, displacement, violence, discrimination and limited access to protection or recovery support.
Inputs
VisionHer brings together community relationships, volunteers and staff, local knowledge, funding, technical partners, donated resources, faith and community networks, and governance and safeguarding systems.
Activities and outputs
Training, education support, mentoring, health education, outreach, referrals, humanitarian assistance, protection support, livelihood development and partnership coordination produce measurable outputs such as sessions completed, people enrolled, referrals completed and relief packages distributed.
Outcomes and long-term contribution
Near-term outcomes include increased knowledge, confidence and access to services. Medium-term outcomes may include stronger income opportunities, school retention, health-seeking behavior, household resilience and safer support.
The long-term aim is women and girls living with greater dignity, safety, health, economic agency, educational opportunity, resilience and leadership. Numerical targets will be added only after approval.
